14. David Spade

David Spade has played a number of not-so-intelligent characters, most notably Joe Dirt. However, in real life he is far from dumb. He graduated from Arizona State University in 1986 with a degree in business. He did stand up at the university and continued to do comedy after his graduation. In 1990, he was hired as a performer and writer for Saturday Night Live, with most of his comedy writing going to Dana Carvey.
