Dave Chappelle did not have a huge public meltdown or go on a drug induced drive, but he did something that many considered crazy. Not long after signing a $50 million contract for his television show he ran away. During a stand up show he lost his cool and walked off the stage and right onto a plane to Africa. He has given dubious reasons for the departure but he seems to have come back in a much better place.
