12. Chuck Berry

Chuck Berry is one of the fathers of Rock and Roll with hits like “Roll Over Beethoven” and “Johnny B Goode.” However, while still in high school he was convicted of armed robbery and served three years in prison from 1944 to 1947. He sentenced to another three years in prison in 1962 under the Mann Act for transporting a 14-year-old across state lines. He was released in 1963.
