Mickey Jagtiani attended schools in Madras, Mumbai and Beirut. He then immigrated to London, where he joined an accounting school but dropped out. He drove a taxi in London before moving to Bahrain and taking over his family’s baby products shop. He gradually expanded his shop to include fashion, electronics, furniture, and budget hotels. He now has more than 1,000 stores that employ more than 45,000 people. He is chairman of Landmark Group.
