Michael and Tracy met when Tracy played his girlfriend on Family Ties. They did not start dating until they met again on the set of Bright Lights, Big City. They married in 1988 and had four children together. In 1991, Michael was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and the couple struggled to come to terms with his diagnosis. However, they continue to be completely in love and Michael always speaks about how grateful he is to have her.
