Samuel L. Jackson and LaTanya Richardson met at Morehouse College in 1974 and were married in 1980. LaTanya was an actress and sportscaster when they were wed. They welcomed a daughter named Zoe in 1982. They continue to support each other and work together, even creating a charitable organization in 2009 to support education. LaTanya has admitted that it was not always easy and she often felt abandoned but does not regret staying with Samuel.
