6. Redd Foxx – $3.5 million

Redd Foxx was known for his role on Sanford and Son which started in 1972 and ran for six seasons. However, prior to that he was known for his raunchy nightclub act. He became known as the King of Party Records because he performed on more than 50 albums. He died of a heart attack October 11, 1991 and he faced numerous problems with the IRS, reportedly owing $3.5 million in taxes when he died.
