Celebrities That You Did Not Know Died And How Much Money They Had When They Did

When it comes to celebrities, there is usually a huge round of fanfare and headlines when they leave us. However, for some that fanfare is much more muted. Some celebrities die very wealthy and successful, and others die with very little to their names. 1. James Avery – $3 million

While he may never have had as much money as Uncle Phil (just how rich was Uncle Phil anyway?) he definitely played a very beloved character on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. He had roles in movies and television for more than 30 years. He was also a prolific voice actor, lending his deep voice to a number of characters including Shredder in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He died December 31, 2013 due to complications following open heart surgery.
